Start your day the local way, rising early for an unforgettable sunrise elephant encounter. You’ll arrive at Phang Nga Elephant Park around 7:30 AM, where you’ll meet your guide and begin your journey.
Together with the Kwan-chang, you’ll trek into the jungle to find your elephant after she’s spent the night foraging freely in the hills. This is a rare opportunity to witness elephants as they live naturally—wandering, exploring, and waking with the forest.
Walk with your elephant through the peaceful jungle as the day begins, then guide her down to the river for her morning bath. Join the Kwan-chang as he gently washes her, a serene and intimate moment that many guests call the highlight of their trip.
After the bath, accompany your elephant back to the park where you’ll help feed her a healthy breakfast snack and watch a demonstration of a traditional elephant health check, learning how mahouts care for the elephants’ wellbeing.

Phang Nga Morning Elephant Experience – Jungle Walk & Thai Brunch

Your adventure begins with a mandatory safety briefing to ensure a respectful and safe interaction with the elephants. You’ll then change into a traditional Kwan-chang outfit, worn by Thai elephant handlers, which you’ll wear throughout your time at the park.
Together with your guide, you’ll trek into the jungle to find your elephant after her night of foraging freely in the surrounding hills—a rare glimpse into the elephant’s natural routine.
Once you’ve reunited with your elephant and her Kwan-chang (mahout), you’ll walk with her through the jungle to a nearby river. There, you’ll assist in giving her a relaxing morning bath, a bonding moment that allows you to witness her calm and playful nature.
After the bath, return to Phang Nga Elephant Park, where you’ll feed your elephant a healthy snack and observe a demonstration of a traditional elephant health check.
